Retirement
When I retired I went to Mount Vernon. I devoted much of my time to farming. A few months later i awoke to a bad cold, fever and throat infection called Quinsy. this later turned to Acute laryngitus. I died on the evening of Decemberm 14, 1799. At the age of 67. Since this will be my last post I bid you farewell.

The Consitution!
The United States Consitution was created on Spetember 17, 1787 and Radified June 21,1788. It was sighed at the National Achives. I was one of the
the 39 people who sighed the Consitution. At the time, there were seven articles and 10 admendments also known as the Bill of Rights. The preamble of the Consitution states the purpose and for that the offical name is "statement of purpose". The articles that follow state the jobs of the three branches of government. It was an honor to be a part of this wonderful document.

Things I have done!
I remain to this day the only president to have recivied 100 precent of the elecoral votes and to have not lived in the white house. At my inauguration I insisted on dringing rum. Thats something I bet you never knew about me. I built the foundation for the government you have today. I implemanted a effective tax system and created a national bank, and this is what game me the nickname "father of his country".

Being President!
I took office on April 30, 1789. I was the very first president of the United States of America. My vice-president was Jhon Adams. The secretary of state was Thomas Jefferson and the Secretary of state was Alexander Hamilton. I was paid 25, 000 dollers and at the time that was a lot of money. I was reelected in 1792 and I left office in 1797. I made the law that states that presidents could only serve two terms.

End of the War
Well my memory is a litttle hazy about those two battles I promised you guys :( . But I know that we lost Brandywine but we won Valley Forge! We spent the winter training there and after that we headed to New York and we drove the Brittish out of there. Then we headed to Yorktown, and what a battle! Eventually however our foes SURRENDERED!!!!! We WON! But now the continental cngress wants to make me king of America. I told them I would be their leader but that I wasn't a king. I wanted to be elected as a president. They liked that and the vote was unanimous! I am now the leader of the United States of America! Come back soon for what I'm gonna do as President!

How We Won Boston
My men raidedBritish arsenals (including some in the Caribbean) and some manufacturing was attempted; a barely adequate supply (about 2.5 million pounds) was obtained by the end of 1776, mostly from France (YOU GUYS ROCK). I reorganized the army during the long standoff, and forced the British to withdraw by putting artillery on Dorchester Heights overlooking the city. The British evacuated Boston and I moved my army to New York City.
Although negative toward the patriots in the Continental Congress, British newspapers routinely praised my personal character and qualities as a military commander. These were bold articles about an enemy general who commanded an army in a cause that many Britons believed would ruin the empire. My refusal to become involved in politics buttressed his reputation as a man fully committed to the military mission at hand and above the factional fray. Come back soon to hear about the battles of: New York, and Brandywine (no not the one in the Shire).
