End of the War

Well my memory is a litttle hazy about those two battles I promised you guys :( . But I know that we lost Brandywine but we won Valley Forge! We spent the winter training there and after that we headed to New York and we drove the Brittish out of there. Then we headed to Yorktown, and what a battle! Eventually however our foes SURRENDERED!!!!! We WON! But now the continental cngress wants to make me king of America. I told them I would be their leader but that I wasn't a king. I wanted to be elected as a president. They liked that and the vote was unanimous! I am now the leader of the United States of America! Come back soon for what I'm gonna do as President!

    Hello Mr. Washington, this is Andrew Jackson, the seventh president of America. I read up about you on whitehouse.gov and I completely agree with your decision to deline the king position offered to you. If you had accepted this role I cannot imagine what our country would be like today. When you were asked to be king, we had just become a free country and were no longer under the rule of a dictatorship. If our country had accepted a king, then we would be huge hypocrits and be reversing everything we had just sacrificed thousands of our people to fight for. So, thank you for your wise decsision on behalf of the people of America.

    Hey George, it's Harry Truman. You're memory has been kind of hazy, but my eyesight has been hazy ever since I was a young child. Anyway,I'll get back to the point now.

    I have also been in a war, and it was with Japan. I dropped two atomic bombs on Japan and we won!
